HOME TOWN
Home Town features works from seven local artists across various mediums, including ceramics, painting, and photography. Each artist hails from different neighborhoods in Miami-Dade County, and their work reflects how they interpret and experience their specific part of the city. Through these diverse perspectives, Home Town showcases the cultural and geographical richness that makes Miami unique and vibrant.
Home Town not only aims to highlight the individuality of each artist's vision but also seeks to create a broader dialogue about the meaning of "home" in a city as multifaceted as Miami. From the hustle of downtown to the quieter corners of suburban life in Miami Lakes, to the remoteness of homestead. The exhibition will explore the complexities of belonging and identity in a city that is constantly evolving.
The artists participating are Samantha Ferrer, Sarah Ferrer, Anthony Campos, Tamara Walker, Javie Oliva, David Paez, and Robin Santamaria.
